Wednesday night at Sarah’s/Peakes was a blastImage hosted by TinyPic.com

The night started at Sarah’s and everyone had a fun time then I walked down to Peakes with Rob, Ian, Charles, Gill, and Sabrina and found some nutrition ladies (Becka and Suzanne) as well as Sarah and the girls when we got there. We arrived a little after 12am so we had to pay stupid cover. Ahh well, it was one of the best nights I have had at Peakes so far, it was well worth it.

It was like we stepped into Myron’s, which was a good thing. I have been missing the loud, make your body throb dance music. They even played "Call on meeeee" but it just wasn’t the same without high kick dancer or Bria.

On the walk home Gill jumped in every single puddle no matter how large or small, which was hilarious. Ian sang a song on the street in front of Jacks while I highland danced, alas we didn’t get any money!

I also ended up calling my best friend growing up (7 years) that I haven’t talked to in almost 2 years. Why it took me so long to call her I just don’t know. We have to get together soon and make up for lost time. You probably don’t read this page, but I miss you and you’re going to LOVE Simon and Elle.

I went to sleep at approx 4am, and woke up at 7:30am… couldn’t sleep. Working back shifts really messes up my sleeping habits when I have a night off.

Today when we took Simon and Elle out for their Daily walk we noticed that Smokey the neighbors cat (always hangs around) was acting weird and ran out of the woods. Charles went to investigate and sure enough, there was a family of Raccoons! They were climbing a large tree and watching us! They were so cute. See it all makes sense now because one day a few weeks ago Elle was investigating a shed out in the little forest behind our house, and she sniffed around the house then suddenly tore off down the path like she had seen a ghost. Her tail was all puffed out and her fur was standing up on her back (happens when they are scared). She must have seen the raccoons, because that’s where they live. We took couple pics but they didn’t turn out well because the raccoons scurried away. I like the picture below better then the one's we took. Raccoons are adorable.

I am at work right now and my belly is asking me to feed it, so feed it I shall.

P.S - Gill is buying Evolve tickets for me and Charles while she’s away in S.J, I am EXCITED, I'm in dire need of a road trip!

Ciao*

What a week! Image hosted by TinyPic.com

Sometimes I wonder why I write here, then I remind myself that I personally like to read other people’s bogs, it's nice to see what your friends are up to even if you are not able to see them often. Plus I always like looking back over the past years and seeing how much I have changed, it’s an online diary.

So, with that said, here’s a recap Image hosted by TinyPic.com

Thursday night Gill and I headed over to Natasha’s place on Queen Street for Mark’s reunion party. Lots of people showed up and then most people ended up at Old Dublin, but Shaydid was playing at Peakes so Bria came over and the three of us went to Peakes. I had so much fun, even though the night is a little foggy Image hosted by TinyPic.com! Thanks for being the DD Bria!

Friday, Charles and I went to the beach all day. It was HOT out. I got a nice tan and we swam in the water and read books on the beach. Everyone brought their dogs to the beach, I swear there must have been at least 10 or more! I was in heaven. Then we hit up Jewell’s on the way back and got ice cream, and I fed the baby goat. He ended up tipping the ice cream cone on his head and it ended up dripping everywhere! It was adorable!

Friday Eve Gill, Bria and I went to the Ghan House for supper, which was amazing. The last time I was there, Valentines Day, I was not impressed with the food. However, this time it was great, and I had the halibut special with roasted veggies, french fries and marinated bread mmm, I am starting to drool just thinking about it Image hosted by TinyPic.com Later that night we went back to Rob's place for a visit.

Saturday was Marie and Dwaine’s wedding, which was nice minus the rain. The after party was fun, lots of dancing and drinking, Gilly even came out! I was the DD for the night. It was nice to see everyone together, it’s hard to get the whole group of us together. We left the around 12 headed home, then Charles and I decided to go for a night walk (2 hours) which was romantic, I love night walks. We went cat hunting (found 3 cats ) then we relaxed in Ardgowan park. The stars were shining and the moon was full and bright I could have stayed there forever Image hosted by TinyPic.com

Today I slept in until 3 since I didn’t get to sleep until 5am! Then we went over to Charles’ parents house for a chat, and then took Mr. Gentle heart for a long walk on the beach. Charles took me out for Chinese, I love the China Garden they have the best Chinese food in Ch’town!

So here I am at work and planning on finishing my Harry Potter book, I don’t have much left!

I put lots of new pictures up, Check them out on my pictures pages!
