Wednesday, July 20, 2005It’s sweltering inside and outside! I am just thankful we live in a basement apartment, otherwise I would never get ANY sleep! Yesterday was my mamma’s b’day. Charles and I went over and gave her a card and present. I got her a nice pair of reef sandals from Island Beach Company, she always wanted the pair I got in grade 9, I STILL have them by the way, and they are still in mint condition. So I got her a pair of her own and I like them more than my own now! I slept most of today then went out to Blooming Point beach with Charles. We stopped at Jewell's Country Market for ice cream, which was delish! The poor baby goat had purple all around it’s mouth, I think someone fed it ice cream! The water at BP was warm and we did a lot of splashing and lounging in the water. It would have been nicer to get there when it was really warm out, but watching the sun set was still nice I think we’re going to Evolve (3 day festival in NS) at the end of August, we can’t afford a big trip this year, but next year we will for sure. I think Evolve will do the trick though, 3 days of fun in the sun, live music during the day, D.J’s at night, camping, trails! We’re driving up with our car so we can stop and sight see all along the way and of course we will do some back to school shopping while there!  Back to reading HP....
