Blarg, I hate having headaches, especially the one I have right now, it’s a doozy Image hosted by TinyPic.com

Did a little bit of shopping and perusing at the mall on Friday, I am always drawn to the jewellery stores, specifically the diamonds! What can I say, I'm a girly girl! Thankfully Charles never minds when I try stuff on, can't wait until some day when I can actually have one of my own! Image hosted by TinyPic.com

On Saturday Gill, Charles, Andrew, Rob and I headed out to the beach for a part-ay, even though the person they threw the party for didn't show up people still had a blast Image hosted by TinyPic.com. Gill and I left early since I worked back shift. It was too cold out there anyways! Brrrrrr

Charles, Gill, Taylor and I went to see Charlie and The Chocolate Factory tonight and it was brilliant! I love Johnny Depp even more now, what a great actor. Tim Burton always makes his movies a little on the creepy side and this movie was no exception, but the awkward and creepy moments really made the movie irresistible to watch, especially the character of Willy Wonka (aka Johnny).

My favorite part of the movie was when Veruca demanded her father get her a squirrel and Willy Wonka says, "Don't touch that squirrel's nuts!!" Oh my, it’s hilarious. I also loved the ending to this movie, which is far more then I can say for War of the Worlds.
GO SEE IT! Image hosted by TinyPic.com

My mom's B'day is tomorrow, so around 4ish I will be heading over to shower her with gifts and attention! I am hoping for a afternoon of relaxation, if its sunny I will be in the pool all afternoon. I am missing out on a trip to Rainbow Valley with the ladies tomorrow, but I have to take my niece soon anyways before the place closes for good!

Tomorrow I am passing in my student loan application for next year, boo to that! On the bright side, I was looking at my degree audit and I only need 13 more courses for my degree! How insane is that? 15 if I do my Biology minor though, which depends on my acceptance into the honours program for nutrition.

Alrighty, off to continue reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Surprisingly reading is helping cure my headache or maybe my migraine medicine is kicking in, either way, I am starting to feel better Image hosted by TinyPic.com

You Are Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
You are kind, popular, and generous.
You tend to be successful at anything you try.
A social butterfly, you are great at entertaining a crowd.
You are most compatible with strawberry ice cream.

mmmmmm I want ice cream.

Karaoke at VU last night was a blast! Pictures up on the ladies page. As well here is a list of who sang what last night..

Image hosted by TinyPic.com

Gilly- "Ice Cream" by Sarah McLachlan, and "Strong Enough" by Sheryl Crow, Gilly got compliments from all the waitresses!

"Chucky. B"- "Lets Dance" by David Bowie! He stole the show by singing in a English accent and won himself a free beer!

Julie- "Somethin’ To Talk About" by Bonnie Rait. It’s amazing how such a big voice comes out of such a little girl!

James- "Feel" by Robbie Williams, he rocked the house!

Whether it involves friends, parents, co-workers etc, does anyone else ever find it hard to tell certain people how they truly feel sometimes?

I have been noticing every so often I disagree with people’s opinions but yet say nothing to prevent confrontation, which eventually eats away at me until I lose parts of myself.

Or, do you ever find that you are upset by something someone has said or done, but figure you might as well say nothing because the thought of telling someone how you truly feel is overwhelming?

I am a people pleaser.

I really have to work on being more true to myself. This will upset lots of people who are used to me agreeing with them, but the upside is that I will hopefully gain more confidence and know that my opinions matter and that I have just as much right to speak my mind.

That was running through my head all day, writing it makes it all that more real.

What a week!

My Nanna, Aunt Jane, Uncle Tony and their two kids, Mitchell and Emma were over this week visiting. It was great seeing them again, we only get to see each other a few times a year so when we do it’s always fun. Simon & Elle’s picture page is now the Simon, Elle and Family pictures page, more pics are up!Image hosted by TinyPic.com

All the kids love Charles, my relatives call him the human jungle gym. I am glad my family loves him so much, it will make it that much easier when we get married someday. Although, I haven’t decided if I want an actual wedding, or maybe we’ll elope! All in time Image hosted by TinyPic.com

Speaking of Charles, I know he’s having a blast at the Shoreline festival with Gilly, Matty, Ranna and rob + lots of other people! He called today which made me really happy, I hate worrying! They’re all having a blast down there, although, it’s now raining and thundering, bring out the umbrellas!

Skip this next paragraph if you don’t like sappy sentimental talk Image hosted by TinyPic.com

I know this sounds stupid but I miss him so much. It’s not that he’s even gone for that long, 3 days, but he’s my best friend and I love seeing him every day. Even after almost 4 years of dating and 3 years of living together I still love him more and more each day. Nothing is perfect, but we are always able to work through anything that happens. Relationships are far from easy, but when you find that special person you have to work things out. Never give up! I hate being separated from him, I keep trying to make a mental list of things that have happened and that I want to tell him. All I could get out over the phone call was I LOVE YOU! And I MISS YOU! I was a blabbering idiot, but as usual he said all the right things and made me feel better! Image hosted by TinyPic.com

This song was playing when we had our first kiss and it really fits how I feel right now Image hosted by TinyPic.com

I Miss You Lyrics

To see you when I wake up, is a gift I didn't think could be real
To know that you feel the same, as I do, is a Three-fold utopian dream
You do something to me
That I can't explain
So would I be out of line, If I said
I miss you.
I see your picture, I smell your skin on, the empty pillow next to mine
You have only been gone ten days, but already I am wasting away
I know I'll see you again
Whether far or soon
But I need you to know, that I care
And I miss you

Sappy rant over!

On Thursday Gilly and I went to Cora’s for breakfast, minus Bria because she was at the gym. It’s my new favorite spot to eat! We both got waffles piled with strawberries, kiwi and bananas! Topped with whipped cream. It was the best breakfast I have ever had! We plan on going again very soon!

Last night Taylor slept over and kept the cats and me company. We went out for brunch in the morning and swam in mom’s pool all afternoon! I got some good news from my parents today, without asking they offered to help me out with tuition for first semester, so my dad told me to make sure I take a full course load! Which is awesome. I won’t have to worry AS much about money. I have proved to them how dedicated I am and they told me they are proud and want to help! I have been trying to figure out courses I will take and I think I have it all figured out. Registration is on Wednesday. I still need a student loan for second semester and incase I need money for books in first semester but it won’t be that big.

Poor Elle had to go to the Vet a few days ago because she had a suture reaction from the spaying. Her incision swelled up and is possibly infected. She's taking Clavamox twice a day and I am using a warm compress to reduce the swelling. It's looking much better today. She slept curled up to Taylor all night, it was cute!

Here's a picture I took before work of Simon and Elle!

Okay, I think that’s all I have to say…. Hope everyone’s having a great weekend!Image hosted by TinyPic.com

P.S - To anyone out there that steals innocent peoples belongings, you'll get yours, someday, somehow.
