Wednesday, June 15, 2005Not a whole lot happening on High Street today, Charles and I both have colds! I worked backshift last night and have the next few days off which is really nice. The only problem, its 2:30am and Charles and Elle are fast asleep and me and Simon can't sleep. It's different when I am at work and staying up until 8am, since I have work to do (err well sometimes I have work to do :P). Soooo I posted a bunch on the cat forums, yeah, that's right, I am a member of the cat forums, and it's my FAVE place to write, which is probably why I never updated here. I was playing with Simon earlier today and here's one of the many shots I just put up on their pictures page, I have a really cute couple shots of Elle too! She's calming down a bit lately, which is good for snapping pictures! My foot is still really sore, it's getting better, but I can't walk on it without pain, so I can't do any strenuous cardio. Pilates will just have to suffice! This September my friend from work Val and I are planning on joining Dance Sport Dynamics for their Hip Hop fitness class, and maybe even the Latin Fitness class too since they are right after one another, Only 80$ for both and you get 10 Lessons of Each! AND, you don't have to go every week if you're busy, you can use the 10 classes anytime throughout the year! I will really be able to bust a move on the dance floor next year lol! Anywho, I am going to get something to eat, my belly is grumbling!
Sunday, June 12, 2005Friday night's never cease to amaze me! Julie, Bria, Gill and I started the evening at Gill's apartment and then headed to Peakes later! Shaydid was playing again and I think the lead singer is amazing! We had a blast as usual, except for the part where I fell off a cliff Annnd, if that wasn't bad enough, a June bug tried to hitch a ride to Peakes with us on my shirt! I was not impressed. I am sure anyone will be able to tell from the pictures how much fun we have LOL. Thanks to Bria and her camera we have pics from the evening up on my pictures page, alas, we had technical difficulties and couldn't take pictures the last few hours we were there boo urns! A few strangers bought all 4 of us shots of Zambuka which was disgusting. (Note to self- never drink zambuka!) I had trouble sleeping due to my throbbing foot, which has continued swelling and is now starting to bruise. I am working the night shift tonight so at least I will be able to relax and stay off my foot. I also put some Simon and Elle pics up on their picture page! Elle is actually following me and Charles around all the time and snuggling with us non-stop. She's never really done that before, she has always been friendly but Simon was always the mamma's boy of the house. I am really lucky to have such wonderful animals! Couldn't ask for better kids!
