Saturday, April 02, 2005There’s something about the weather warming up after a cold winter that makes you appreciate spring that much more. It was gorgeous out today, Charles and I went to Stratford and took his beagle, Gentleheart, for a long walk around the trails and we ran and frolicked, it was great until gentle got a hold of some pre-chewed gum which we had to wrestle off him: P Then we went home to Simon and Elle, and attempted to walk both of them on the deck. Tomorrow it’s time to start gearing up for summer weather and getting into the gym more frequently. Charles has been losing weight and so have I, which means losing mostly muscle and some fat, the latter which is good for me. We made a pact that we would go together and help each other. I have been doing Pilates frequently but I never update my fitness blog, but I will start tomorrow with updating. Last night Johnny came over for steak and potatoes and a bit of phys studying, although, we did a lot more talking then studying. Speaking of phys studying, I better get back to it! Work is really slow so I should use this time wisely! Hope everyone’s having a wonderful Saturday! P.S. - Here is a cute pics of Elle and Simon- they're becoming buddies!
Thursday, March 31, 2005Ohhh micro, how you’ve hurt me :( Well.. Micro lab didn’t go well at all. I thought I was prepared. Nope. Not prepared. Doing a streak plate without even sterilizing the table first, which is a MUST, will certainly leave me with a bad mark on that portion. Ahh well, I did the best I could under the circumstances, and can’t worry about it now. As for my micro exam, we got that back too, and I managed to pass, 61.1%, disappointing for me, yet good compared to others. Time to focus on my Physio lab exam which is next week, I already started studying a bit, but this weekend will be hardcore phys studying since it’s worth 15%. In cat related news, Elle has a little cold, but she is still giving Simon a run for his money :P They’re so cute to watch, I can’t wait to get home to see them! I'm off!
Monday, March 28, 2005I heart siamese cats! Here are some more pics of Elle, hehe, I am a proud mamma! There is also a pic of her sister (Chocolate Point Siamese) that hasn't found a home yet. They're both adorable, it was hard to choose between the two, but Elle was much more outgoing, and I really love her markings. As soon as I called her over she ran to me and licked my hand! It was love at first sight. I wasn't expecting a litter to come out until the end of the summer but we got lucky! It's been a whirlwind, and now we have two crazy siamese cats haha! Simon was getting lonely with us both being in school and he desperately wanted a companion. Simon is starting to get used to Elle, they chase each other around and simon tackles her.. but he's not hurting her, he's just showing her he's the boss :P We'll see who's boss when she gets older ;) She's sleeping on my bed right now, curled up! what a cutie! I took simon outside for a walk which he enjoyed and have been givin him LOTS of attention so he doesn't feel left out. Anywho, I better get some homework done while she's napping seeing as I have been SLACKING Off bigtime! Of course, more pics later...
