Saturday, November 27, 2004Tonight is the Watts Christmas party! Unfortunately...I am working :( Which means no turkey dinner for me! Last night was bar wars, which I had to opt out of because homework was piling up on my desk. I very badly needed to start studying chemistry, which I did. I also got a few little assignments done for foods and nutrition and wrote out my LAST chemistry lab WooHoo! Today I slept in till 11 and then worked on chemistry some more and relaxed a bit. I work tonight and tomorrow morning (4-12 then 8-12) for my friend Julie, so I will have to buckle down tomorrow evening and get lots of work done. I finally got back to the gym yesterday and had a great workout. I felt much better and am going to try and get in 2-3 times a week over the next few weeks, then 3-4 times after Christmas. Not much happened this week, volunteering went well on Tuesday at the animal shelter. Charles and I walked all the dogs on the adoption floor and a few had been adopted!! One of my favorites Kia (border collie mix) got adopted while we were there! I bathed a cute little lab puppy named Elbeedee and fed all the dogs. My favorite dog, Savana (shepherd mix), is now on the adoption floor! She’s adorable but shy as she was abused when she was younger, anyone looking for a gentle, affectionate dog she's your match! Bria, you should take a look at the page, Rex really reminds me of Becky ! There is also tons of cats! Anyone who is responsible and wants a cat for Christmas should check out the humane society homepage HERE. One of my favorites is Simone who is a female Siamese mix, too bad she’s female or TRUST ME I would already have her ;) Her and Simon would make a cute couple though :P We also bought some toys for the dogs to play with next Tuesday I can't wait! Everyone should check out the homepage there’s lots of activities coming up this December, pet photo's with Santa and much more! I know I’m obsessed with animals, but I can't help it lol! Volunteering at the soup kitchen is going well, the new building should be finished soon which means more ROOM! Exams in less than 2 weeks!! aghhhhh! And that's about all the news I have!
