Monday, June 21, 2004It’s gorgeous outside today! 21, sunny, and beautiful :) Charles and I went for a long walk in Victoria Park early this afternoon, I love the outdoors! Victoria Park is actually where we first met, and If I remember correctly you chased me around with a stick one night after one of Bobby’s parties. That was quite the party, I had to carry Jeff Clow down a flight of stairs after he had wayyy too much to drink, then me and tyler had to drop Jeff off at his parent’s house and carry him to the door :S Poor Jeffy had to work open the next morning at McDee’s and he passed out in the backroom for the whole day ! lol, Good times :) I was in a bad mood earlier today because I work Canada day and am getting a bit stressed from working 6 days a week. I am off at 12am on C-day night so I guess I will have to party after work, no fireworks for me. I don’t work the next morning which is a little consolation. I had a waffle cone from the shop at Vic Park and played on the swings and slides which cheered me up. I got a call from work after I got back from the outing, James and Court had to jet out for appointments so I came in early 2:30-12. I would do anything for those two. Due to the circumstances I couldn’t get into the gym today, but I should be taking a day off anyways..I still don't want to :( I have a really nice salad I made for lunch, I can't wait to eat !!
Sunday, June 20, 2004Recap of the weekend ;) I had both Friday and Saturday off work, which was great, although next week I have to work 45 hours again because Eagan is going on Vacation. I wish I could go with him! I have 2+ weeks of paid vacation that I planned on taking this summer (San Diego Zoo), but with Charles striking I think it’s best that I work when I can. My dad has traveled all over the world to set up colleges and he has a jillion air miles. My parents offered Charles and I airmiles to take a trip anywhere but we would still have to pay for accommodations and spending money which we can’t afford right now :( Hopefully we will go to Dominican on spring break next summer, which will also give me motivation to stay fit all through winter. I plan on taking my paid vacation around the start of December (exam time) so I can afford presents and have time off for studying! Friday Charles and I went out for Chinese again, can you say addicted, hahah! It’s so delicious heated up the next day too. Saturday we cleaned up the whole house and it’s almost spotless, although..the bedroom needs a bit more work. I also got groceries, lots of veggies so I can make really good salads for work. In school related news, It’s almost time to register for September!! The F/N faculty still didn’t update the course listings on the website!! I emailed Jennifer Taylor and she’s going to send me the hot of the presses version as soon as it’s finished. It’s really hard to plan what courses you are going to take when you’re not sure what courses are required :S I also am going to do some volunteer work in July, thankfully I got off my ass and got something started. I can be such a procrastinator. Even if I don’t get into the internship because of my first year marks, volunteer work still won’t hurt my resume. Happy Fathers Day! I bought my dad a really cute card and some lotto tickets, I hope he wins! I have been buying lotto tickets a lot lately, I didn’t win on last night’s draw but maybe next week!
