Friday, January 02, 2004Long time no post. I have been sick as hell. I had the flu for 3 days and missed 2 shifts at work, now I have some type of throat infection, needless to say I am in bad shape. I couldn't drink last night, my throat was so sore. By 12am I had no voice at all and I didn't even talk much all night. The boys left to go to a party at 1am or so, I stayed home and tried to sleep but was in so much pain. I thought I would have to go to the hospital, my throat felt like it was closing over which was very scary, eventually it got a tiny bit better. I woke up at 4am when the boys got home, I was very glad, I hate being home alone when I am sick. I needed a good back massage and the cat wasn't cutting it ;) I decided to try and come to work tonight, I figured I would just leave early, but I get here and apparently I am the only person working backshift. Grrrreat. My supervisor told me I looked like crap and that I could work from home if I felt really sick during the night. I'll be leaving here soon to go home, at least I can cuddle with the cat while working at home. Better then being here all alone. I don't work again until after school starts, yee haww. School's just around the bend.... As for New Years Resolutions, I have a few, hopefully I'll keep them this year ;) ! Good Luck in 04' everyone !
Sunday, December 28, 2003Boxing Day Madness!!! I got up at 9am and prepared myself for the swarms of shoppers I would encounter at the Charlottetown Mall. It was insane to say the very least. I managed to get a 140$ boots from Aldo for 25$ I also got 3 pairs of pants from Eclipse and a turtleneck and shirt from Smart Set, all for really low prices :) This was my first time shopping on boxing day, and I know it won't be my last, too many good deals to pass up. So now I'm at work, I slept for 3 hours and now I'm playing sorry with Matt and Julie. I have a horrible cold, and it's getting worse and worse by the minute. I need to rest up for New Years, I plan on having a New Years bash at my apartment since Matt isn't having one, Hopfully I will be better by then. UPEI starts in ONE week, How insane is that. I haven't really thought about it much, I'm not looking forward to taking Stats, but I feel a bit better after Janelle was so kind to give me her notes & book, I really appreciate it :) Hope you rocked the socks of the Stats Exam Janelle! Time to go home, thank god, I need some sleep!
