Friday, December 26, 2003I hope everyone had a great Christmas with their families, I know I did. It's all over for another year, but I took a million pictures to remember it by. I have some pictures up, and more to come later today. Christmas eve was very hectic, but I loved it. My whole family meets at my Uncle David's house for exchanging gifts and eating lots of food, after that Charles and I headed over to my parents house with my sister, Terry and all the kids. Fun times, The kids were so excited, and they got spoiled rotten on Christmas. Nicholas' birthday is on December 25 so we had lots of extra presents to buy him. He also got a really cute sesame street cake :) Heidi and I must have ate something bad because we were both up sick most of Christmas eve night. Thankfully I was feeling better by the morning, I got lots of really nice gifts, and some money for shopping tomorrow!! I can't wait, I looove boxing day sales! On Christmas Day we went to Charles' parent's house for a visit, exchanged presents and played with Mr.Gentleheart. He has the cutest floppy ears! ;) Later on we went to my parents for an excellent supper made by my Mom and Terry, must be nice to have a head chef as a boyfriend. My sister's really lucky. Simon had a great Christmas, he especially loved all the ribbons and bows on the presents. He liked the ribbons more then the gifts and treats we got him :P I took lots of cute Simon pics too, for my collection ;) Well It's almost shopping time, have to go shower and eat ! Happy New Year Everyone :) !

Sunday, December 21, 2003So I didn't win the trip to Cuba, but Charles won a Eastlink bundle gift certificate worth 260$ woo hoo ! That helps lots :) Jason Kowalski won the trip to Cuba, and he also won an eastlink gift certificate, lucky bastard! Ahh well, I had a great time, the food was great, Julie was really drunk and tired so we drove her home after the Cuba draw. I took a bunch of pictures, I'll put them up sometime soon. I have been up since 8:30am and I am working the backshift right now:( I had a horrible migrane, so I rummaged through peoples desks until I found some advil, feeling much better now thankfully. I really think I need to get lasik eye surgery (aka, lazer eye surgery) My eyes are just too screwed up, contacts and glasses make me have headaches everyday, which started way back in Junior High :( One eye is slightly near sighted and one eye is extremely far sighted, which makes for lots of straining on my eyes even with the contacts. Too bad it costs 1000$ per eye :( Although, my left eye is almost 20/20, so maybe I could just get it on the one eye...However, the healing time is 3-6 months (a full year before your vision is perfect), you also have to be over 20, and your eyes have to stay at the same prescription for a full year. Mine are still changing dammit! It's a really painful procedure but I would get it done in a heartbeat. Maybe this summer. Very bored, need to pass the time.. Games then sleeping *sigh*
