Saturday, December 20, 2003Yayy ! I got all my Christmas shopping done yesterday in a little less then 3 hours, record time :) I am really pleased with all the presents I bought, and I'm sure everyone will be really happy. I love making people smile, especially at Christmas. Tonight is the Watts Christmas party, which consists of a fabulous dinner followed by a dance. There are also lots of prizes to win, including an all inclusive trip for 2 to Cuba in February! I plan on winning that trip of course ;) Keepin my fingers crossed!! =) Not much time to update, I really have to go wrap presents while Charles is out shopping. Only 5 days until Christmas !!!!!
Wednesday, December 17, 2003I worked from home last night and was extremely bored, soooo I ended up doing tonns of quizzes, Enjoy!  You belong in Amok Harvest: busy, a time of eternal daylight, a place of growth. Here is where family is important, and where everybody helps towards a common goal. The world is advanced, but the connections between its people don't lessen as the years go by. Even though clouds may gather, the brightness in your spirit will overcome all obstacles.
Sunday, December 14, 2003Another night at work... slow and very boring, I can't wait to start learning new information, even if it means learning Stats. Wow, never thought I would say that! Not too much going on lately, Went out for supper at Swiss Chalet on Friday, it was delicious, and the chocolates afterwards were even better. There were huge lines of people waiting to be seated when we were leaving, I guess I'm not the only person who loves the festive dinner. Getting our tree tomorrow !! I can't wait, nothing beats the smell of a Christmas tree:) I haven't done any Christmas shopping yet, I plan on doing last minute shopping, such a procrastinator. On a different note... This world is full of ignorant, self-centered, and malicious people. I'm talking about people that berate others because they are so insecure with themselves and their own lives they have to lash out at others to make themselves feel better. Honestly, what satisfaction do people get when they make fun of someone who is having a hard time or has a problem?? God, some people's ignorance amazes me. There are so many decent people that get treated like shit, it's too bad some people have zero respect and empathy for others. The capacity for getting along with our neighbor depends to a large extent on the capacity for getting along with ourselves. The self-respecting individual will try to be as tolerant of his neighbor's shortcomings as he is of his own. ~Eric Hoffer~ When will people understand?
