Wednesday, November 26, 2003I decided to spice up my page with a few Christmas decorations :) Today I cleaned my whole house in preparation for putting up Christmas decorations on Thurs/Friday. wOOt wOOt !!! I have boxes and boxes of decorations, I can't wait to blare Christmas music and put them all up. Next Thursday or Friday we are having a huge Christmas bash at our apartment, come one come all! I looove to procrastinate, but today I got a list of things I had been putting off done. I went to 4 car insurance places, all of which gave me the same damn quote!! Grrr, So I guess I am stuck paying 2200$ a year for my car. Apparently it's so high because I am only 20, once I turn 21 one place said they could offer me a better deal. Blarg. Oh well. I need a car and my dad wants me to have full insurance on it, so 2200 a year it is. Personally I think insurance companies rip everyone off. I also went to UPEI and passed in my student loan papers, I know I shouldn't have had to take out a stupid loan in the first place, but I wanted to have a new comfortable bed, I mean common, I need a good night's sleep to do well in school, well that's what I tell myself anyways :P Thursday night = Angie's 19 B-Day party, so we're all going to trivia to get drunk and celebrate, Angie can finally go to the bars !!!
Sunday, November 23, 2003Recap of the past few days is in order I suppose..On Friday night Julie and I held our own Pillow Talk party with Janelle as the wonderful host. Janelle, you rocked !! It was your first of many to come Pillow Talk parties, You definitely have the spunk and personality to show those products. You are much braver then I. Everyone had a great night, lots of drinking and eating :) A few purchases were made. Went tanning at the AFC after Janelle recommended I buy the "Brown Envy" tanning lotion, I swear to god it smells better then cake, and it's silky smooth (only 19.99 at the AFC). I went in the stand up tanner for about 5 minutes, and now my face is burnt. I think I will stick to the lay down beds from now on, that way I can bake like a cake :) I also went shopping today and finally found a jacket that fit me !!! Ok, so it's kind of embarrassing, I bought it at Reitmans, and it was size medium from the kids section *hangs head in shame* I can't help it. Hey, kids clothes are much cheaper :) annnd I got mittens and a scarf to match!! wOOt wOOt! Julie and I are stuck working the backshift pigging out on veggies and dip, what a life we lead. Can't complain.. at least not today anyway.
