Saturday, November 01, 2003Halloween is over for another year. I had a great night out with Taylor, we both got 3 bags of candy each *snicker* I love looking 15 years old, it pays in so many ways. So I am at work... all alone. They fucked up the schedule AGAIN, it's really dead but it's hard to leave and go on break since there is no one but me to take care of the MSN helpdesk if someone comes in. We came in second place in the decorating contest, we worked all last night on backshift to make this place scary as hell, we had the little girl from the ring, creepy. I took lots of pics which I'll put up sometime soon:) I think everyone should get a digital camera, they capture so many memories that go by too fast. I put up a few more pics, new one's are listed at the end of each category so it isn't confusing. Also put a few pics up on my workout blog, Feel weird about making them public, but it's something that's motivational for me, I want to workout more when I see results, It's what drives me. Time to sleep at work, night night!
Friday, October 31, 2003* Lots of Pics up, WARNING: Cats, cats, and more cats, plus a few miscellaneous* Started off Wednesday with a early morning workout which always makes me feel great :) Charles was working until 4pm so I went for a nap, then awoke at 2pm because Charles burst into the bedroom with half a dozen red roses!! I love my boy, he knows exactly what a girl wants :) Too sweet. Then we went bowling for fun at the basilica, we both sucked, he won both times but only by a few points. It was hilarious to say the least. Then we filled up on Subway, Yumm Yumm. The boys all went to see "Kill Bill" so me and Simon chilled and watched The Bachelor. I couldn't stand to be on that show. I have no idea how those girls can stand watching the man they "claim" to be deeply in love with make out with other girls, I would sneak into their rooms late at night and make sure they never touched my man again. Really though, If you love someone how do you justify making out with 4 other women at the same time?? It's just gross. Yesterday Charles and I went to the AFC in Montague, the hot tub still wasn't working but we had a great time regardless. I did a bunch of laps since I decided not to workout before swimming. Afterwards we went to Orwell Corner and spent a few hours walking in the woods and taking pics. I love trees, sunsets, and fresh air =) HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!! I am taking my niece out tonight trick-or-treating and hope to stock up on lots of candy, I know I know.. more trips to the gym for me ! I bought a really cool witch costume, the cuffs and hat have a purple feather boa trim, wOOt wOOt. Well, I think this post is long enough, Time for sleep!
Tuesday, October 28, 2003I didn't take back the Sony camera, it's growing on me. I'll probably take it back in a few days for the less expensive one. So far I have taken 100+ pics, mostly of Simon in cute positions, and a few of me and Charles. I haven't had time to put them up but hopefully tomorrow. Anyone who doesn't like cats won't like the pictures..so consider yourself warned :) On Thursday Charles and I are taking another trip up to the Montague AFC (anyone who's interested we're going early afternoon) I can't get enough of that pool !! Then hopfully we will be able to catch the sunset and take pictures at the Orwell Corner Homestead. It is almost 2 years since Charles took me there for the first time, I fell in love with the beautiful scenery. I love walking in the woods. Side Note - - So far I have almost persuaded 4 people to get a kitty !!! Angie is getting one this week while her dad is in Haiti on business, they are going to train it while her Dad is gone so when he comes back he won't kill it, hehe. Julie wants a cat, So I just have to convince her boyfriend to buy her one for Christmas, Rachel is looking at the Humane Society after I gave her the link, and last but not least Jenn (Dan's girlfriend) wants a cat too :):) Cats, cats, and more cats !! yayyyy!! We could all have a cat party :D:D or not....ahem.
Sunday, October 26, 2003Recap of the past few days- On Friday, Julie and I got our hair done =) I wanted my natural hair color back which is dirty blonde/light brown, and they did an awesome job. They used reverse highlighting instead of dying it, which prevents extra stress on my hair. Looks great, exactly what I wanted. Now I can let it grow really long without it looking dry/damaged. After that we met up with some friends from work for Glow Bowling, I haven't had that much fun in way too long. I came 4th out of 5 in the first game, and 2nd place in the second round. BooYahh! Later that night I convinced Charles to take me to see the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, he was against it because he knows me too well.. and knows how I react to scary movies. I wanted to leave it scared me so much, but I just closed my eyes and plugged my ears for most of it. I was too disturbing for me. I don't think it helped that I researched "Ed Geins" the actual guy the movie is loosely based on a few nights before. Blah, I screamed so much, the guy beside me was laughing at me :P After the movie we planned on meeting up with folks at Melons, but it cost 7$ to get it !!!! What the hell was that about?? So we ditched that idea and went home. Today we bought a Sony Digital Camera, but I think we're taking it back on Monday, it's not that great. It's very difficult to operate and it's not something that I am going to pay 400$ for. I want to get either a cannon, or the 299$ Sony Digital Camera. I took lots of pictures which should be up sometime tomorrow if I have time. Simon has been my main focus :) He's sits pretty for the camera, too cute ! Later on in the day Charles and I took a trip up to Montague for a workout and swim :) Great workout, and even better swim, God I love the pool. Very relaxing, I wish it was closer to home. The Hot Tub was out of order again, next time it better be working!! Tonight, The clocks go back an hour and I work the backshift, So I'm stuck working an extra hour.
