Friday, September 05, 2003I was pretty bummed last night :( All the tickets were sold out for Theory of A Deadman. The Guy said they were selling more at 9:00 when the doors open, but he said to go early since they were only selling 50.. It was pouring rain so there was no way I was waiting in line...oh well I was angry so I took my frusteration out at the gym and had a good workout.. I hope you guys and gals had a blast! In other news, Charles and I start working the backshifts next week so we can save up money plus the backshift is slack....11.25$ an hour to listen to music and chat all night. He wants to pay off some loans and I need to save for school. I am kinda worred about saving actually... I need to save like 2500 by jan, it shouldn't be too hard, plus my parent's offered to help out if I need it.. I don't feel right taking their money right now, I want to at least pay for this semester on my own. I made a few changes to my workout blog, and charles put some Elmyra pics on my homepage. I don't know why but everyone seems to think I remind them of Elmyra.. is it becuse I like to hug and snuffle animals or because I wrap them up in blankets and snuggle them? Speaking of animals, We went to the humane society yesterday and I think I found a cat I like, she's adorable.. and declawed =-). She was surrendered becasuse her owner was 70 years old and died. *cries* I took her out and played with her.. she loves to snuggle and her paws are extremely soft. Sooo.. I am going to think about it today and go back and see her again tomorrow. There is no BBQ today at work becuase of the rain. Dammit.
Thursday, September 04, 2003Not much went down last night, I worked all day, went to the gym, made wakki nachos/chocolate chip muffins, and watched Lord Of the Rings The Two Towers. I also watched Paradise Hotel which is getting nasty and out of hand, I suppose that makes for higher ratings though. Thank god they kicked Zach off, what a hooligan. Hopefully Amy will go next. In other news, most people started back to school yesterday while I was left to my normal routine of sleep, eat, work, go to the gym:) I don't have much longer to wait.. in the meantime I am devoting my time to finding myself a cat companion. Very productive, I think so :-) Taylor loved school and she had a great time, which was what I was hoping to hear. I had separation anxiety when I started school, I hated being away from my mom. I didn't go to daycare or kindergarden which made the separation much worse. She's a strong girl, she'll be fine! Agenda for Tonight, Gym then hopefully the Wave... Anyone know how many tickets are left? and/or how many people they are letting in at the door? Please let me know :) annnd back to work!
Wednesday, September 03, 2003My little baby starts school today *cries*, well she's not actually my baby she's my sisters, but I helped raise her for the first 3-4 years of her life. I can remember waking up to her crying in the middle of the night (her room was below mine) and even though I had school the next morning I would run down and try to get her before my sister did. I would rock her to sleep, sing her songs and run my hands through her hair. In the morning my sister would always say, " wow, Taylor is such a good sleeper".. and I would laugh because I always put her back to sleep but she never knew. Me and Sheralee took Tay everywhere, we would even wake her up at night because we wanted to play with her. Ohh my, how the days go by. I always wondered what Taylor would look like when she started school.. it seemed so far away back then. Today is the day, and I am so proud of her. She is the most intelligent and beautiful child I know, she means more to me the anything in this world. I want to make sure she has everything she needs and never has to worry. Which is one of the main reasons I will work my ass off when I go to UPEI. She's my baby, and she knows if she needs anything I am only a phone call away. She will call my apartment sometimes and tell me about her day, and tell me she has drawn some pictures for chuck and how she wants me to take her to get craft supplies :P Her father is not around (side note- he is a fucking asshole and If I ever see him I would probably murder him) Thankfully Connor lives farrrr away in Calgary. What a bastard.. who goes out with a girl for almost 4 years and then moves to Calgary when she gets pregnant?? yeah that's right assholes do. He doesn't know all the innocent lives he has hurt by moving. Your loss. Funny how a child that everyone thought was a mistake can be the biggest blessing and miracle in disguise.
Monday, September 01, 2003So, what's new and exciting? Meh, not much. Working today 8-4pm.. Today's a holiday so I get 23$ an hour. Yesterday was a family day at my parent's house. Heidi, Terry, Tay, Nicholas, me and chuck had a huge supper that my mom made. Chicken, steak, pork, potatoe salad (yumm), buns and lots of other goodies, plus chocolate cake that they made me eat, I swear they forced me to:P Missed Tom's party last night but we didn't get home until 9, and driving to Souris was not an option since we both work today at 8. I am sure ya's all had blast. School starts soon for most people, I feel left out :P Just kiddin, I'll be starting soon enough, January's not that far away. Plan until then - work my ass off and pay for tuition without getting a loan, also save for a shopping spree I plan to have in Moncton in Nov or Dec.
Sunday, August 31, 2003Wow, last night was so much fun. So we all met at Shannon's house and started drinking while being serenaded by her brother and his crazy songs. It was Andrews last night to party since he's leaves early next week for B.C... GOOD LUCK ANDREW :) After drinking lots we headed to Myrons for some more drinkin' and dancin'. Shannon and I had fun dancing all night. We were being harassed by guy after guy, so when the guy started trying to dance with one of us we started to dance with each other. We thought this was a good idea and it seemed to work on all the guys, except for one guy who seemed fairly turned on, good idea turned bad. Thankfully as soon as the guy got creepy our men showed up to save the day. We stayed until close then headed outside for fresh air, the groups scattered and everyone went home after that. I think I was more drunk when I got home lol. Shots don't like me.. my tummy told me. Wooo Hoo it looks nice out today, could it be a beach day.... mayyybe.
