Thursday, July 24, 2003Spent most of the day at my sisters, I took my niece shopping for craft supplies and we spent most of the day making crafts :) Terry made us supper, he's head chef at the Best Western , so supper was delicious!! I want to move in with them :P My sister and I took the kids for a walk... then I was carrying Taylor's bike and it flung around and smashed on my ankle, it was bleeding pretty badly :( then it started to pour.. so we had to run home..lol. I went to UPEI today and gave them my letter so I can get back in :)wOOt. Then I have to talk to the student loan peeps, they better let me get a loan !! Anywho, I am tired, gymmin was great today but now I need some food ! gotsta go..
Wednesday, July 23, 2003Yesterday we bought a corner shaped computer desk with a hutch from staples, it's really big and it matches our wood floor !wOOt. They also have free delivery, I was impressed :) We're trying to buy all the things we need for our apartment before I go back to school in January, all we have left to buy is a nice computer chair, a new 27+ flat screen tv, and a new entertainment center to match it :) The list was very long before, but we've almost got everything we need now. I feel much more relaxed. The only other thing I really want is a cat:) which has to come from the Humane society..it can be either a kitten or an old cat..they all need love :P. I am thinking maybe a Christmas cat ?? *hint* Everyone needs a companion when they are studying!! Temptation island was on last night *snicker* That show is so horrible it's good. I can't believe how much skin they are showing this season. They don't black anything out! I also watched Big Brother4 I am a sucker for the reality tv, what can I say, it's entertainment none the less. Off to work :)
Tuesday, July 22, 2003work work work it's all I ever do :( We bought a really nice printer!!! It can print detailed, clear photo's. We bought a fairly expensive one, looking back we probably didn't need the expensive one.. It's basically only for me to print off school work, oh well it better last for a while. I got employee of the month LOL.. so I get to pick what shifts I want for a whole month which is sweet :) I think I'll work 8-4's or 9-5's, not sure which yet. It pays to sleep with the supervisor..lol..just kiddin' Work has been slow for the past few days, but we are losing people like crazy. They are hiring in case anyone wants to apply.. it's all internal hiring for now, but they might be taking external too. MSN Chat.. it's the place to work I'm tellin ya! I wanna go to the lake after work today.. or to my parent's pool... they are both warm.. but the pool is like 27 degrees.. *sighs* it's like a hot tub at night! Chow, back to work !
Sunday, July 20, 2003Toga party at Blooming point rocked :) The fireworks were spectacular, Bob had a great time running on the beach while the fireworks were exploding from his hands.. until he fell.. but then he got up and kept runnning, what a trooper :P tonns of people out :)lots of crazyness.. like throwing some flammable liquid into the fire and almost scorching dwaine's leg :P Kept the bugs away though! Poor mel, Her car was broken into, her window smashed and her purse and cell stolen. I know how you feel mel, my car was broken into a few years ago.. and over 1000+ worth of Cd's and stereo equip were stolen.. and I didn't have insurance. So at least you have insurance. I wish that I could have caught them breaking into your car when I left.. I have all this anger built up for people that steal things.. I would have kicked their asses..I swear I would have ripped them apart..which most likely would have resulted in them beating me up..since they obviously had something to break your window with. UGH.. I am so pissed. WHY DO PEOPLE STEAL ??? Don't worry Mel, what goes around comes around.
