Friday, July 18, 2003Holy fuck, you won't believe this. Ok.. So I went to the Irving and took out a 20$ from the bank machine to buy some gum and chips, I walk up to the counter and set my stuff down..the 20 was in my hand... but when I looked down it was gone. I figured I had dropped it on the floor, so I went and looked around.. I couldn't find it so I went back up to the cash and told him I would have to pay with debit. So after I punch in my codes the guy lifts up my chip bag to put them in the bag.. and OHHH there's my 20$.. I say to the guy look there's my 20$ and he says, " Oh I guess the other lady left this behind" -- he was referring to the lady that paid for 13$ in gas.. and I watched him give her the change back.. so I said.. common' it was under my chip bag.. it's mine.. and he refused to give it back.. I thought it was best to leave and then call the manager since it would all be on tape anyways. So charles called back.. and the guy says to him " well I asked her if it was hers" HOLY FUCK.. he did not ask me if it was mine.. stupid fucker... UGH.. so I am going to pick it up after work at 9 and I am giving him hell..He totally lied and then LIED AGAIN.. really.. why would I say it wasn't mine when I just lost my 20 and it was under my fuckin chip bag !! Loser.
LOL Angie if you were there you would have had a blast, I missed ya babe, the night wasn't the same without you..I have lots of stories for you!!! anyways, I can't type well so g'night. time for nbed.
Thursday, July 17, 2003The meeting today went great !! I spoke with The associate professor of the Family and Nutritional sciences department, Katherine Gottschall-Pass, she was very helpful. We looked at all the courses I already have and figured out where I can go from there. I already have, Chem 111-112, calculus 112.. which she said counts for Finite mathematics, English 101, Drama (my other english),1 social science - Anthro, plus a few electives that I can count towards my degree =) I was so happy. So next semester I only have to take 4 courses.. and then I start hardcore in Sept 2004. I also spoke with Linda Smith the Dietetic internship co-ordinator, apparently they only take 12 students into the program.. so that means I will be a hermit for a few years and study my ass off. It costs 900$ per work term.. and there are three work terms for the Internship.. so that's another 2,700 on top of the already high rates of tuition :( which sucks. This is the tentative 2nd semester schedule : F-N 114 Families in Contemporary Society CC 101A M, W & F 8:30-9:20 Lori Weeks F-N 101 Nutrition for Living AVC A M, W & F 10:30-11:20 Jennifer Taylor MATH221C Introductory Statistics CC 103 T & TH 11:30-12:45 TBA PSY 102C Introduction to Psychology II M 040 T & TH 10:00-11:15 Scott Greer, Fiona Papps, Donald Mazer F-N 101 is not required for the degree but she said it's good to have before you take other Nutrition courses and it counts as an elective.. stats I need, F-N 114 I need, and Psych is an elective. I have to register soon, that's the good thing about being considered 2nd year.. you can register for second semester early :)Yayyy! Back to work....
Me and Chuck wanted to see Pirates of the Caribbean today, but it was sold out :( So we went out for supper and then got yogen fruz mmmm my fav. UPEI appointment tomorrow at 9am, hopefully I will be able to get everything straightened out and get all my courses lined up for second semester! I can't wait :D time for bed :)G'Night!
Monday, July 14, 2003The B-Ball game didn't happen today =( We went to the field at 4:15 but not everyone made it,so it was rescheduled for 7:30.Then most of us headed to Subway for supper.mmm good. Chuck, Matt, and Dwaine played rugby at 6 so we went to watch them play. Rugby scares me.. we almost got clocked with a few balls :S I am tired and I have to Work the backshift :( Oh well.. I'll survive, grab my cd player and a slushie and I'm good to go :) I have to remind myslef to make a doctors appointment,a UPEI appointment, and a car appointment to get my car inspected tomorrow. Hopefully they aren't backed up too long. Procrastination sucks. I am pretty sure I have made my mind up about school.. I have enough credits that can be counted towards the degree so I won't have to start until second semester.. and even then I will be able to take 4-5 courses each semester. I will tell everyone after I make up my mind for sure...which might take a while.. I am indecisive what can I say :P Back to work I go.....
Sunday, July 13, 2003Big Game tomorrow :) I will be in the stands cheering for Stratford !! wOOt wOOt!! Then it's off to watch Charles, Matt and Dwaine play rugby at UPEI, I hate watching rugby games.. all the guys are so rough and tough..do they not know that I need that boys face kept in tact :) lol j/k. It is a scary sport though, chuck came home with deep cuts and welts on his shoulders.. I was not impressed. Lets just hope I don't have to kick some ass on the field... yeah that's right.. I am the angry girlfriend :P Past few days sucked, I was sick and stressed out.. that's a horrible combo. Thankfully I am on the mend. Not to mention our computer got a virus :( *angry fist* This school thing is really eating away at my brain dammit, I just wish I had one career path I wanted to follow instead of 4 or 5. What's with that??.. what the hell can't I make up my mind? Everything will work out, I'm a strong girl..I'll find my way. "Celebrate we will.. because life is short but sweet for certain"
